Lightworkers Conference Review

By Robin Rose

The most recent Universal Lightworkers Conference (Nov. 8-10, 2002) was an extraordinary experience for all. There were numerous unique elements that made it particularly different from all previous years. One such change was the relocating to a different Hotel. The new venue, the Sheraton of West Palm Beach was a bit larger, which allowed for more lecture and music space as well as a beautifully displayed variety of vendors.

Another noticeable difference in the Conference was the slightly larger quantity of men–good looking men, with a commitment to better living. This was refreshing to see.

This year’s event also had an abundance of vitality. Everyone seemed to be so excited and vivacious–even though there were the usual moments of deep prayer and emotional healing.

The Conference had the usual array of powerful and oft times motivation music performances but with an even greater sound quality than usual. The performances were topped-off with a special slide presentation of Scared Sites from around the world-presented by Martin Gray. The entire audience was in awe of the effects of the breath-taking photos, music and well-paced narration. A glance around the room revealed several hands on heart and/or tear-filled eyes.

The Speakers exhibited their usual cohesiveness yet conveyed their own particular message-each reaching the audience in a different way. The Conference began with Aluna joy demonstrating the power of the Star Elders. The Gerald Jampolsky and Diane Cirincione did an excellent job reminding everyone about the essential steps to forgiveness. On Saturday, Patti Cota-Robles wowed the audience with her powerful presence and a message on the need to create a consciousness of abundance. Then, Saturdays keynote lectures were completed with Michael Mirdad who, using several art slides, shared concepts of the identity of our True-Self and how to live the life of the True Self. The Final day of the 3-day event began with Dr. Michael Abrams (who was back by popular demand). Dr. Abrams taught about the 12 conditions of a miracle in his deep yet humorous style of presenting. Then, The Conference lectures ended with Jacob Libermen–author of Light: Medicine of the Future. Jacob received mixed reviews mostly due to his less familiar, “more eastern-style” of lecturing by sitting in a mutual dialog.

One of the biggest surprises of the weekend was the outstanding workshops. These resulted in some of the greatest compliments overall. One repeat workshop was with Steve Bhaermen who taught participants to reframe low events in their life into highlights via humor. Then, a first-time presenter at the ULC was Valerie Brooks who presented a workshop on Tantra (Sacred Sexuality) which had a very effective emphasis on connecting sexual energy to the heart. Last but not least, the workshop/playshop featuring Rainbow Didge Creations (Allen and Audrey Smith) simply awed everyone with sound healing and movement.

This review would not be complete without a comment about the attendees. The presenters were consistently saying that they were amazed at the graciousness and appreciation that they received from the attendees. This energy only added to the overall power of the Universal Lightworkers Conference, which always feels like a home-coming or family reunion of Lightworkers from all over the planet and beyond.

Next Year’s Lightworkers Conference already has several Speakers and Performers lined-up, including: Keith Varnum, Valerie Brooks, Michael Mirdad, Nigel Taylor and more.
